Bradley Holt - a Good Samaritan who died in Miami, Florida

Bradley Holt
Bradley Holt, age 24, died on November 13, 2014, at a hospital in Miami, Florida.

At about 6:00 p.m., a group of adults and numerous kids were playing on the street in front of an apartment complex.

A yellow Ford Mustang was circling around the area and driving erratically. The driver of this car is often seen by residents of the area - speeding, revving the motor, doing figure eights, sliding and skidding the vehicle like a race driver.

Bradley approached the male driver and yelled out "why are you driving so crazy with so many kids out here?"

A few minutes later the driver returned. Someone inside the vehicle fired two shots, one of which struck Bradley in the head, fatally wounding him. Bradley was rushed to a local hospital where tragically he was pronounced deceased.

If you have any information about this crime, you are urged to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477, or Miami police at 305-603-6250.

Javon Dade Jr. - a 4 year old killed by dogs in Goulds, Florida

Javon Dade Jr.
Javon Dade Jr., age 4, died on August 13, 2014, at a house in Goulds, Florida.

Goulds is a rural area of about 10,000 people in Miami-Dade County.

Just after 10 a.m., the Police were notified that a male child, age 4, was missing. He had been visiting the home of his father, Javon Dade Sr., who was present at the house along with his girlfriend. The police arrived at the home and found the child dead in the back yard.

The child had been bitten to death by a dog or several dogs.

Javon Sr. owns several dogs who are described as aggressive pit bull breeds or pit bull cross breeds.

Three adult dogs and three puppies were removed from the property. Details are incomplete and sketchy. It is implied that no one knows who owns these dogs. Authorities stated "We don't know if the dogs lived at that location or if they somehow gained entry."

It is illegal in Miami-Dade County to own or keep American pit bull terriers or any breed that even looks like a pit bull.

Pit bulls are vicious and unpredictable dogs. They were bred 200 years ago for bull
A Pit Bull Dog
baiting, bear baiting and dog fighting. They were never intended to be family pets. They should never be around infants or young children under any circumstances.

They have repeatedly proven that they can kill people both young and old. Many towns and cities, counties and states other than Miami-Dade do not allow pit bulls and related breeds within their jurisdictions.

This dog breed and related breeds should be bred out of existence sooner rather than later. This breed should go extinct.  It serves no useful purpose.

And yet people insist on illegally breeding these nasty mutts and foisting them on the public. People insist on exposing their own children to these dogs which is even more irresponsible and so hopelessly pathetic.

It is up to the neighbors and bystanders who notice pitbull dogs chained up in yards or running loose in their districts to phone the police and to report an illegal dog. Speak up or you may be next. Pitbulls kill many adults yearly. Grown men in their 40's who are jogging past pitbulls running wild haven't been able to fight off these dogs and have been viciously killed.

Death by dog is not acceptable in a civilized country.

Javon Dade Jr. will be forever mourned by many well-wishers. He is playing in the fields of Heaven.
