Paul DeWolf - murder victim in Ann Arbor, Michigan

Paul DeWolf, age 25, died on July 24, 2013, at his room in the Phi Rho Sigma medical fraternity, in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Paul died of a single gunshot to the neck.

The Police have deemed this to be a homicide. There were no signs of a struggle and nothing was stolen. The Police have no motive for this crime and no suspect at this time.

Second Lt. Paul DeWolf was a fourth-year medical student at the University of Michigan on an Air Force scholarship. He planned to graduate next Spring.

Paul was born in Kalamazoo and grew up in Schoolcraft, Michigan.

He was captain of the Cross Country Team at Schoolcraft high school, graduating as
class Valedictorian in 2006. He received his Bachelors Degree in Bio-Medical Sciences from Grand Valley State University in 2010 and then joined the United States Air Force, where he was in the top ten percent in Certified Officer Training and received the Top Athlete Award.

Paul was a talented musician and especially enjoyed the piano and French horn. He was a certified scuba diver, traveled the world on several mission trips, and had competed in marathons.

Paul is described as a man of faith who had no enemies.

Paul is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his mother and father, Kristine and Thom DeWolf; his brother, Joshua and sister, Rebekah.
