It is believed that Aicha was murdered. Her body had signs of trauma.
She was planning to leave her husband, Nelson Tayongtong, age 39, who is a suspect in this death.
Aicha and Nelson were both born in the Philippines, had emigrated to Canada and had been married for two years. Aicha was from Mindanao.

Aicha worked as a mortgage agent with the Canada Mortgage Store. She was also an independent distributor for a company that sells nutritional products.
In late 2010, her husband suffered a stroke, losing much of his vision and ability to walk and talk. He was in a serious state of malfunction. Aicha updated friends and relatives about his condition, as he slowly improved.
However, something happened between them and Aicha was planning to leave Nelson. They were living together at the time of her death. Strokes and other brain injuries change a person's personality, sometimes for the worse. Only God knows what happened between Aicha and Nelson.

Aicha is described as bubbly and full of life. She will be forever missed.
Nelson is described by the Canadian Police as dangerous. Anyone who comes in contact with Nelson Tayongtong is asked to contact your local police department or your local Crime Stoppers number.
God save us from the people we love, who then kill us. Amen.
Let us pray that Aicha Saludares is in heaven. Let us pray that she is at peace and is with God. Amen.

Please note that at the time of the murder Nelson & Aicha were already living separate lives. Nelson has moved out & was living with one of is friends. Let us not make excuses for what he did, there is no excuse for the brutal act he inflicted on a human being that saved his life.You need to pray for him. Aicha is loved by so many & was a loving and kind human being that I have no doubt in my mind that our Loving creator will open the gate of heaven for her.
