Chad Parque - Police Officer Fatality - North Las Vegas, Nevada

Chad Parque

Detective Chad Parque, age 32, died in the line of duty on January 7, 2017, at a hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Detective Parque was a member of the North Las Vegas Police Department. He had 10 years of service.

On January 6, 2017, Chad had just left the North Las Vegas Justice Court building when a vehicle which was travelling the wrong way on the road, struck his vehicle. Chad was extricated from his vehicle and was rushed to a hospital in Las Vegas where, tragically, he succumbed to his injuries the following day. 

The driver of the wrong-way vehicle is a 62 year old woman. It is unclear, as of this posting, what caused her to cross over into oncoming traffic.

Khalil Ali Tiner - a victim of alleged Impaired Driving in Las Vegas, Nevada

Khalil Ali Tiner, age 26, died on October 31, 2015, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Just before 8:30 in the morning, Khalil was driving with friends on a city street when another vehicle sped through the intersection, striking Khalil's car.

Tragically, Khalil died at the scene of the collision.

Luis Lopez, age 19, has been arrested in connection with this tragic accident. He faces charges of DUI causing death and DUI with substantial bodily harm.

Luis Lopez is innocent unless proven guilty.

However we offer this advice to all drivers: If you find that you are wasted, drunk or doped up on street drugs or prescription drugs or if you are falling asleep on your feet, do NOT drive. Call a family member or a friend for a ride; or take a taxi or a bus; or stay where you are until you sober up; or crawl home on your hands and knees. It will be better for you and for the world if you do.

Maria Garcia and Alyssa Aisa (6 years old) - victims of impaired driving in Las Vegas, Nevada

Maria Garcia, age 58, and her granddaughter, Alyssa Aisa, age 6, died on March 30, 2015, at a hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada.

At about 2:30 p.m., Maria and Alyssa were standing at a bus stop on a busy street in Las Vegas.  A second grandchild, an 18 month old toddler, was in a stroller. 

A car turning a corner near the bus stop plowed into Maria and Alyssa and the toddler. All three were rushed to a local hospital where tragically Maria and Alyssa passed away.  The toddler in the stroller lived. 

Leonardo Ruesga, age 20, of Las Vegas, was the driver and fled the scene.  He was arrested several hours later, hiding in an apartment complex. He faces two counts of DUI involving death and one count of failing to stop at the scene of an accident. In October of 2014, Leonardo had been found guilty of carrying a concealed weapon and had received a suspended sentence.

At least Leonardo Ruesga manned up and told police he had been drinking and “ingesting illegal substances” before he was arrested.

It may be time for the City of Las Vegas Transit Department to re-think this busy bus stop with a view to moving it or placing metal/concrete blocking posts in front of it to prevent drivers from plowing into it.

Kamesha Gilmore and Gabriell Thomas - victims of alleged drunk driving in Las Vegas, Nevada

Kamesha Gilmore, age 17, and Gabriell Thomas, age 18, died on March 5, 2015, on a street in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The girls were driving on a city street at 1:30 a.m. when a Mercedes Benz car crashed into their vehicle. The girls were seriously injured and tragically died of their wounds. 

Seong Mo Lee, age 22, of Henderson, Nevada, was arrested for DUI in connection with this collision. It is alleged that he was drunk and that he was wildly speeding. He had previously been charged with a DUI in 2014, and driving with open booze in his car.

Antonino Isnit - a store clerk murdered in Las Vegas, Nevada

Antonino Isnit, age 58, died on December 26, 2014, at a Walgreen's Drug Store in Las Vegas, Nevada.

He was commonly known as Tony to his family, friends and co-workers.

Tony was a clerk at the drug store and was working an overnight shift. Sometime between 4:00 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. a man entered the store wearing a mask. He held Tony and a female clerk at gunpoint in a backroom where the safe is located. It was noted that he had a silencer on his pistol.

The armed robber was able to get between $5,000.00 and $7,000.00 and then shot Tony multiple times. He let the female clerk go unharmed and fled the scene.

Jin Ackerman, age 25, was arrested by the Police at a house in the Arbors neighborhood of Las Vegas. A gun with a silencer was found in Ackerman's possession.

Jin Ackerman faces charges of murder, kidnapping, burglary and robbery.

It has been reported that Jin Ackerman had worked at that particular Walgreens Drug

Store previously and knew Tony.  He was familiar with the store's layout. He had also worked at at least one other Walgreens. It is suspected that Ackerman may have been involved in an armed robbery of another Las Vegas Walgreens on December 24, 2014.

Jin Ackerman is innocent until proven guilty, however, to whoever killed Tony Isnit, we put this question: What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul?

Friends and customers of the drug store describe Tony as a pleasant man who had a smile or a joke or conversation for everyone.

Tony's loved ones are devastated over his sudden and tragic death. He was the primary caregiver for his 91 year old mother. His family will have great difficulty without him. He will be forever mourned.

Tony is survived by many loving friends and family members including his mother.

Igor Soldo and Alyn Beck - Law Enforcement - Las Vegas, Nevada

Police Officer Igor Soldo, age 31, and Police Officer Alyn Beck, age 41, died on June 8, 2014, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Igor and Alyn were members of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

They were on their lunch break at about 11:15 a.m. at a pizza restaurant in a strip mall. Two subjects, a male and a female, approached them at their table and shot them execution style without warning.  One of the shooters yelled "This is a revolution!", but it is unknown what they really meant and to what organization they belonged.

Despite being wounded, one of the officers returned fire before being incapacitated.

The subjects then stole both officers' weapons and ammunition and ran to a nearby Walmart, where they shot and killed a civilian.

Responding officers followed the two into the Walmart and exchanged gunfire with the two before the female subject murdered the male subject and then killed herself in what is believed to have been a suicide pact.

Both officers were pronounced dead at University Medical Center. 

Alyn Beck had been with the department since 2001 and leaves behind his wife and three children.  He is described as a good man and a professional officer who did his best. 

Igor Soldo was born in Bosnia and had been with the force since 2006 and is survived by his wife and baby. He is described as a good father and an all around great guy. He attended high school in Lincoln, Nebraska, and had previously worked as a Corrections Officer.

The murderers are Jerad Miller, age 31 and his wife, Amanda Miller, age 22.  They belonged to either a Neo-Nazi group or to an Anti-Government Militia group or followed those groups' philosophies on their own. 

Those are the groups in America who want to bring down the government... and every government world-wide. Many of their members are social misfits, odd-balls, drug addicts, alcoholics, gun advocates, conspiracy theorists and out of control wing nuts. Instead of self-analyzing as to why they are addicted, broke, violent and unhappy, they do the easy thing which is to "blame it on the government".  And then they try to blow away government employees, as did Timothy McVeigh who bombed a federal building in Oklahoma City in 1995, killing 168 and wounding over 600.  Or they kill cops on the street or in a restaurant while they eat lunch. 

The loved ones of these Police Officers have suffered an unspeakable loss. Oceans of tears will be shed for these men.  God help those who weep for Alyn and Igor. 

Igor and Alyn are survived by many loving comrades, friends and family members who will forever mourn them.

Charles Sperry - Elderly man killed in bank robbery - Reno, Nevada

Charles Sperry, age 80, died on October 16, 2013, at a Bank of America in Reno, Nevada.

At about 10:00 a.m., a robber, Van McDuffie, age 66, took a taxi to the branch with the intent of robbing it. McDuffie allegedly pushed at least two people during the robbery and approached a bank teller with a gun, saying, "This is a robbery. Give me all your money."

At that time, Charles Sperry told him to leave. He approached McDuffie and a scuffle ensued. McDuffie then shot Charles Sperry in the chest.

rap sheet like Judas. He has been arrested 62 times. Five arrests have been for felonies.

This dude has almost been arrested once for every year that he has been alive.

The thieves, even though they are senior citizens themselves, will use their walkers, wheelchairs, taxis and buses to get to a place they can rob. God help us.

Joe Sperry, the son of Charles Sperry, the victim, stated: "Today I lost my father, my best friend, and my hero. I'm so angry, sad, and confused. I lay here now praying. Tell your loved ones you love them, please. Thank you to all my friends and loved ones. R.I.P. Dad."

Marcos Arenas - run over for his iPad - Las Vegas, Nevada

Marcos Arenas, age 15, died on May 16, 2013, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Two men, Jacob Dimont, age 18, and Michael Solid, age 21, were driving down a Las Vegas street when they spotted Marcos walking with an iPad.

These thieves decided that they wanted the iPad and Jacob Dimont jumped out of their vehicle and attempted to grab the device.

Marcos wouldn't let go. He had gotten the iPad just 2 months ago for his birthday. He treasured it.

After Dimont re-entered the vehicle and Solid sped away, Marcos was somehow dragged until he fell. The vehicle ran over Marcos. He passed away at the hospital later in the day.

Jacob Dimont and Michael Solid have been arrested and are charged with murder, robbery, and conspiracy to commit robbery.

Solid has an arrest record of possession of a stolen vehicle, petty larceny, robbery and assault. Dimont does not have any prior adult arrests.

Thieves are continually looking on the streets for people holding Apple products in their hands, which they can resell. This is called "Apple picking".

The Apple Corporation should give money to the Arenas family to at least cover the funeral expenses. This boy died over holding onto an Apple product.  They could give $10,000. out of the $10 million they make every day.

Marcos is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his father, Ivan Arenas, his mother; and 9 siblings.
