Thierry was rushed to a hospital in Val-d'Or, where, tragically, he succumbed to his injuries.

The male subject, Joseph Raymond-Papatie, age 22, was found deceased inside the house of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The circumstances of these tragic deaths are under investigation.
Michael, Patron Saint of the Police, pray for
Thierry and for those who have lost him.

The Service de Police de Lac-Simon is in mourning over the death of their young brother. Thierry had a future in law enforcement. He will be forever remembered.

Thierry's loved ones are devastated over his sudden and tragic death. He was loving and was loved in return. He did his best. He will be forever mourned.

Thierry is survived by many loving comrades, friends and family members who will forever miss him.

Thank you for your service to the community, Thierry.

Pray for all who die in the line of duty.

God save us from the Lost Ones who bring death to strangers. Amen.
