Zach Clevenger - Firefighter - Kentucky

Zach Clevenger
Firefighter Zachary Clevenger, age 30, died on December 5, 2015, at his home in Lee County, Kentucky.

Firefighter Clevenger was a member of the Montgomery County Fire Department. He had 8 years of service. Zach was also a volunteer firefighter with the Estill County Fire Department.

On December 4, 2015, Zach and other firefighters from the Estill County Fire Department had responded to a structure fire. Zach got home shortly before midnight.

He was found unconscious by his wife early in the morning hours of December 5. First responders tried to revive him but tragically he passed away.

His death is considered to be in the line of duty due to the circumstances just prior to his passing.

The Estill County and Montgomery County Fire Departments are in mourning over the death of their brother. He was a good man who would have been a good father to his child. He was kind, helpful and thoughtful of others. He will be forever remembered.

Zach's loved ones are devastated over his sudden and tragic death. He was loving and was loved in return. He did his best. He will be forever mourned.

Zach is survived by many loving comrades, friends and family members including his wife, Christina.

Pray that Zach is in Heaven. Pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
