Ignacio was a clerk at a Stripes convenience store.
After midnight, three men walked into the store. One or more of them took some items to the counter. When Ignacio opened the cash drawer one of them demanded money and shot him. The men fled the store immediately.
Ignacio was rushed to a nearby hospital where, tragically, he was pronounced deceased.
There were no other customers in the store at the time of the shooting.
James Elizalde, age 22, has been arrested in connection with this murder. The two other men with him were reportedly found and then released.
James Elizalde is innocent unless proven guilty.
However, we put this question to the thief who killed Ignacio: What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul?
Ignacio grew up in Gregory, Texas and graduated from Gregory-Portland High School. He was called Iggy by his friends and family. He had worked in sales all of his adult life.

Ignacio is survived by many loving friends and family members including his father, Ezequiel; his brothers - Zeke, David, Greg and Ramiro; his sisters - Rachel, Rebeca, Olivia, Guadalupe, Irene and Micaela; and his best friends who were like brothers to him - Lee and Carl. Ignacio was predeceased by his mother, Rebecca.
Pray for all who go to work and who die because of it.
Pray for justice for Ignacio.
God save us from the thieves. They are killing us, Father. Amen.
Pray that Ignacio is in heaven. Pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.

God Bless Us all. We are mankind and we are out of control. We are killing ourselves and letting it get worse. There were 2 assisting with the murder. When good people stand by they are assisting the darkness to grow like a cancer on the body of Christ. We are not healers but we can accomodate our savior and praise Him as we would any doctor. We must live and be slaughtered and believe the enemy that we don't know our brother through the blood of Christ but we are more related eternally than to our earthly siblings. Help sew the Good seed as our Heavenly Father did when he gave us another chance to enjoy eternal life. Lets not waste this opportunity to grow the light. I like being entertained by Hollywood but not if our Fathers blessing of new birth is being exploited and taken and mislead to believe that hope is dead. We have the victory already all we have to do is share Gods gifts. Forget about the packaging and become a love reaper and not a Grimm reaper. I love my Father and my teacher with all of my heart. I appreciate that he never foresakes me and that he creates everything that we need. I love the body of Christ and every cell in it.
God is for Us.
