Samuel Nadeau - Canadian Soldier died during training at Gagetown Military Base, New Brunswick

Private Samuel Nadeau, age 17, died in the line of duty on August 10, 2015, at the Gagetown Military Base in Oromocto, New Brunswick.

No cause of death has been released by the Canadian military other than to say that foul play is not involved. The cause of this death is under investigation. 

Private Nadeau was a reservist with the 8th Canadian Hussars.  He joined in January of 2015.

He was attending training at the Gagetown range and training area.

He was originally from the village of Memramcook, New Brunswick.

Samuel's military comrades are in mourning over the death of their young brother. He will be forever remembered. 

Friends describe Samuel as a well-liked young man who kept a positive attitude and who was helpful to others.

Samuel's loved ones are devastated over his sudden and tragic death. He did his best. He will be forever mourned.

Samuel is survived by many loving comrades, friends and family members who will forever miss him. 

Angels of God, pray for Samuel and for those who have lost him.

Oceans of tears will be shed for this kid.

Thank you for serving, Samuel.

Pray for all who die in the line of duty.

Pray for all who die suddenly. They are with us one moment and are gone before we can say goodbye.

Pray that Samuel is in heaven. Pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
