Todd Morose - a victim of alleged drunk driving in Washington State

Todd Morose, age 50, died on March 7, 2015, on a highway near Spanaway, Washington.

Spanaway is an unincorporated area near Tacoma.

Todd and his wife and two daughters were driving in their SUV just after 6:30 in the evening. A pickup truck crossed the center line of a state highway near Spanaway, hitting Todd's vehicle head on.

The pickup truck rolled several times and caught on fire. The driver of the pickup survived and fled the scene on foot. He was found later by the Police hiding in a wooded area. He admitted that he fled the scene of the accident. He was injured in the collision but not seriously.

Todd's wife and daughters were taken to a nearby hospital and will be okay.

Matthew Haygood, age 31, of Roy, Washington, is under investigation for vehicular homicide, drunk driving and hit and run.

Advice To All Drivers: If you find that you are wasted, drunk or doped up on street
Light a candle for Todd.  Light his way
to Heaven.
drugs or prescription drugs or if you are falling asleep on your feet, do NOT drive. Call a family member or a friend for a ride; or take a taxi; or stay where you are until you sober up; or crawl home on your hands and knees. It will be better for you and for the world if you do.

Regret can last a lifetime.

Friends stated that Todd was a great guy who loved his wife and kids. He will be forever remembered.

Todd's loved ones are devastated over his sudden and tragic death. He will be forever mourned.

Todd is survived by many loving friends and family members including his wife, Leeanna and their two daughters.

Pray for justice for Todd.

Pray for all who die by misadventure. They are with us one moment and are gone before we can say goodbye.

God save us from the drunk and the doped up drivers. They are killing us, Father.

Pray that Todd is in heaven. Pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.

Thank you for this I can assure you that Todd is in heaven. He loved God and accepted Jesus as his saviour
Girls and I miss him. We are still recovering physically and mentally from the accident. WE were not expected to live. It was touch and go for weeks. I believe we were spared because of all the prayers, thankyou
