Lindsay Buziak - murdered in 2008 in Saanich, British Columbia - Do you know anything about it?

Lindsay Buziak, age 24, died on February 2, 2008, at a house in Saanich, British Columbia.

The District of Saanich is a district municipality on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, within the Greater Victoria area. The population was 109,752 at the 2011 census.

Lindsay was stabbed to death by persons unknown.

Lindsay was a real estate agent and had received a call to show a million dollar house to prospective buyers - a man and a woman.

Lindsay Buziak felt uneasy about the showing and asked her boyfriend to check in on her. At about 6:15 p.m. police received two 911 calls, one from outside the house, then minutes later, one from inside, asking for medical help. Lindsay's body was found by her boyfriend, Jason Zailo, 15 minutes after her death. Jason Zailo is not a suspect.

cell phone that was disconnected right after the murder. The Police believe that the murder may have been some sort of contract killing but the motive is unclear or has not been revealed by the Police.

For five years, friends and loved ones in Lindsay's family have held marches in order to keep Lindsay's murder in the public eye. They do not want her to be forgotten.

No real progress has been made toward solving this crime in 7 years. The Saanich police state that the case is still being investigated.

The suspects are a Caucasian male, about 6 feet tall, medium build with dark hair; a Caucasian woman about 35-40 years old with shorter blonde hair and wearing a designer dress in a red, white and black pattern.

Lindsay is survived by many loving friends and family members including her mother, Evelyn Reitmayer and her father, Jeff Buziak. She will be forever mourned.
