United Nations says: ISIS Leaders should face war crimes trials

Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi
- the War Criminal
A United Nations' report has called for War Crimes trials for the leaders of IS (Islamic State), which is also known as ISIS (Islamic State in Iraq and Syria).

ISIS is a terrorist organisation which claims religious and political authority over all Muslims. Its ambition is to establish a caliphate to control Muslim regions of the Middle East including Iraq, Syria, Palestine, Jordan, Israel, Lebanon, Cyprus and parts of Turkey. They are also attempting to expand into the North African Muslim countries of Libya, Tunisia and Algeria.

The current "Caliph" of Islamic State is Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi, age 43.

Witnesses of the activities of ISIS in Syria and Iraq have testified that:

ISIS continues to commit crimes against humanity including beheading of captured soldiers and political prisoners and continues to stone and shoot civilians.

ISIS members have "perpetrated egregious violations of binding international humanitarian law and the war crime of murder on a massive scale."

ISIS has also deprived 600,000 people in northern Syria of deliveries of food and medical aid.

Ruaa Diab - murder
victim
In the areas that they control, they have ordered lashings and amputations for offences such as smoking cigarettes or theft.

A young female Dentist in Deir al-Zor, Ruaa Diab, was tortured and murdered by ISIS because they felt that she had links to the regime of Bashar Al-Assad.

It has also been reported that in ISIS controlled areas, children were urged to inform on their parents; women were stoned for unapproved contact with men; and Christians and other minorities have been forced to convert to Islam, flee the area or pay a tax for not converting.

Also numerous occasions of crucifixions of so-called "traitors to ISIS" have taken place in areas they control.

Pray for an end to this vile group who bring torture, murder and suffering to the world. They want to live in the brutality of the 13th century.  They want to drag the entire world back in time with them.

God save us from the barbarians. Amen.
