Kyle Sinclair - Canadian Soldier - died in an accident in Ontario

Craftsman Kyle Sinclair, age 27, died in the line of duty on November 21, 2014, at a hospital in Ottawa, Ontario.

Kyle was a member of the 2nd Service Battalion, 2nd Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group, stationed at Camp Petawawa. 

It has been reported but not confirmed that earlier on November 21st, Kyle had been working on an armored patrol vehicle, when a seat lever released striking his head. He was given first aid by his colleagues and was rushed to a nearby hospital and then to Ottawa.  Sadly, he passed away later that day. 

The circumstances of this tragedy are under investigation. 

Kyle grew up in Whitby, Ontario. He attended Fleming College before joining the Army in 2012. He was posted to Camp Petawawa in July of 2014. He was a vehicle technician and was undergoing a 2 year training program.

Military officials describe Kyle as a talented soldier and technician. He was competent, mature and a natural leader. He had a winning smile and was uptempo.  He was always willing to help others. He was proud of his service. He will be forever remembered.

Kyle's loved ones are devastated by his sudden and tragic death. He was a good man who will be forever mourned.

Kyle is survived by many loving comrades, friends and family members including his mother, Anna Loveman; his father, Guy; and his siblings, Evan, Roslin and Graeme.

Thank you for your service, Kyle. 

Pray for all who die my misadventure. They are with us one moment and are gone before we can say goodbye.

Pray that Kyle is in heaven. Pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
