Darryl Terry - a Shopkeeper killed in Pittsburgh

Darryl Terry, age 50, died on May 18, 2014, at his convenience store in the Sheraden neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

At about 7:30 p.m. a man came into the store with the intention of robbing it. An altercation ensued and a shot was fired inside the store. Darryl ran outside to escape but was shot numerous times and died in front of the store. A female witness was also shot several times but was able to drive away. She is in the hospital in critical condition.

Family members said that Darryl had been a businessman all of his life. He had opened this store only one month earlier.

Darryl is described as a popular and successful man who was always willing to help out others in distress.

The suspect, as of this posting, is a black male between the ages of 18 and 23 - 5 feet,
Angels of God, pray for Darryl
9 inches tall, thin, dreads, dark skinned and possibly wearing eyeglasses.

Darryl's family are devastated by his sudden and tragic death. He will be forever mourned.

Darryl is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his 8 children.

God save us from the thieves. They are killing us, Father.

Pray that Darryl is in heaven. Pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.


Pray for the woman who was a witness to this crime and who was also shot.  God help her. Amen.
