Fitzroy Harris and Thierno Bah - murder victims in Edmonton, Alberta

Fitzroy Harris, age 50 and Thierno Bah, age 41, died on February 28, 2014, at a Loblaw's warehouse in Edmonton, Alberta.

Both men were employees at the grocery store's food distribution center. In mid-afternoon, a man armed with knives entered the facility, fatally stabbed the two men and injured four others.

Jayme Pasieka, age 29, of Edmonton, was arrested and will be charged with first degree murder and attempted murder. It was reported that Pasieka had some connection to the warehouse and had worked there as an order filler.

Pasieka had a previous conviction for assault with a weapon and uttering threats and he had been sentenced to 15 months probation.

The motive for these current deadly attacks is unknown at this time.

Fitzroy Harris was born in Jamaica. He had worked at the warehouse for three months.

Family members of Fitzroy Harris stated that music was his life. He loved Reggae music. He loved his sideline of being a Disc Jockey. He wasn't a trouble maker and went out of his way to avoid confrontation. Friends and family knew him as "Spragga". He will be forever missed by his loved ones.

Fitzroy is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his wife; his two daughters and his son.

Thierno Bah was from Guinea (West Africa). He had also lived in France before coming to
Angels of God, pray for Fitzroy and for Thierno and
for those who have lost them
Canada in 2009. He had a university degree in nanotechnology but had difficulty finding work in his field because his English language skills were weak. He moved to Edmonton with his wife and children in 2013 hoping to improve his language skills and his employment prospects.

He was a Muslim. His body will be returned to Guinea.

Friends of Thierno Bah stated that he was a friendly man who was well-liked. He is also described as a loving family man.

Thierno is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his wife and four young children.

Pray for justice for Fitzroy and Thierno.

Pray for all who go to work and who die there.

God save us from the Lost Ones who bring death to others.

Pray that Fitzroy and Thierno are in heaven. Pray that they are at peace and are with God. Amen.
