Jamar Hicks - U.S. Military

Sgt. Jamar A. Hicks, age 22, of Little Rock, Arkansas, died on August 11, 2013, at Forward Operating Base Salerno in Khost, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with indirect fire in Paktia Province, Afghanistan.

He was assigned to the 4th Battalion, 320th Field Artillery Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

Jamar graduated from Hall High School in 2010.

hardworking and willing to tackle anything. 

Jamar is survived by many loving friends and relatives, who will forever miss him.

Thank you for serving, Jamar. 

Pray without ceasing unto God for an end to this war in Afghanistan. It is enough. We are sick with grief for men like Jamar.

Pray that Jamar is in heaven. Pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
