Kelly Hunnewell - Store Clerk murdered in Columbia, South Carolina

Kelly Hunnewell, age 33, died on July 1, 2013, inside a bakery store in Columbia, South Carolina.

Kelly was shot in the upper body by three men in a botched robbery attempt.

Kelly was working the third shift (an overnight shift) at the bakery. At about 3:30 a.m., three men entered the store to rob it and when she resisted she was shot.

It is believed that the men entered the store through an open door. Bakeries are hot and employees often open doors at night to get a breeze or some cooling.

Family members describe Kelly as a loving mother, daughter and sister who was cherished by many. She will be forever missed.
