He was murdered and his body burned beyond recognition.
Tim had advertised his pickup truck for sale on the Internet. On May 6, at about 9:40 p.m., two men asked to test drive Tim's vehicle. Tim told his wife he would be right back. He went with the men and was kidnapped.
A massive manhunt by the police ensued. Tim's remains were found 8 days later in a field in Ayr, Ontario. The field belongs to the family of Dellen Millard, age 27. He has been charged with the murder of Tim Bosma.
As of this posting, the second male suspect has not been identified.

Tim's wife, Sharlene Bosma, is devastated by the horrible and tragic murder of her husband. She stated: “His daughter will grow up knowing how much he loved her. And how he would sometimes watch her sleep or chase her through the house to tickle. Tim will always be loved and he will always be remembered. And I love you Tim.”
Tim attended Ancaster Christian Reformed Church, whose members are weeping for the Bosma family.
Tim is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his mother, Mary; his wife, Sharlene and his 2 year old daughter.

God save us from the Lost Ones who stalk the Earth stealing away life. They are killing us, Father. Amen.

Dellen Millard and Mark Smitch have both been sentenced to life in prison. They are also implicated in the deaths of at least two other persons.
