Mohamed Morsi, President of Egypt - Here comes another Pharoah

Mohamed Morsi, the 61 year old President of Egypt, on November 22, 2012, announced that he was giving himself sweeping new powers including having authority over courts. 

You would have to be an Egyptian Constitutional Lawyer to understand all of the implications of this new push for more and more power. It is all muddled.

The president said he was acting to protect the revolution and advancement towards a new constitution for Egypt.

Many Egyptians fear the real agenda of President Morsi is not to protect the revolution, but to increase the power of President Morsi, and of the Muslim Brotherhood, and to promote the writing of an Islamist constitution for Egypt.

Rioting and violence on the streets erupted three heartbeats after he make his announcement about more power for himself.  

The Egyptians are sick of these men who pop up like weeds, one after another, grubbing for power.  

In the West, these men are called Dictators.  In Egypt, these men are called Presidents. 

Mohamed Morsi must know something about democracy and human rights.  Two of his children are American citizens. 

God save Egypt from the Dictators.  Amen
