Brenden Salazar

Pfc. Brenden N. Salazar, age 20, of Chuluota, Florida, died on July 22, 2012, in Pul-E Alam, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device.

He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team, Caserma Ederle, Italy.

Brenden was a 2010 graduate of Paul Hagerty High School in Oviedo.

Angels of God, pray for Brenden

High school officials describe Brenden as a good student and a patriot. 

Friends describe him as quiet, sweet and funny. 

Brenden is survived by many loving friends and relatives.

Pray for the 20 year olds who die in combat. Yesterday, they were just boys. 

Let us pray that Brenden Salazar is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
