Anthony Frampton

British Private Anthony Frampton, age 20, died on March 6, 2012, in Helmand Province, Afghanistan, of injuries sustained when his armoured vehicle struck an improvised explosive device.

He was a member of the 3rd Battalion, The Yorkshire Regiment.

Anthony was known as "Anton" to his loved ones. He was from Huddersfield in West Yorkshire.

Family members are heartbroken and describe him as their hero. They are extremely proud of his service in the military. They said that he loved the Army and his comrades.

Light a candle for Anthony.
Light his way to Heaven.
They also describe him as happy, and stated that "He was just the joker, the clown. He entertained all the troops. He lifted them up with his daft dances and karaoke and singing. And they loved him for it."

Anthony is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his mother, Margaret Charlesworth; father, Gary Evans; and sister Gemma Frampton.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Anthony Frampton is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
