Christopher Kershaw

British Private Christopher Kershaw, age 19, died on March 6, 2012, in Helmand Province, Afghanistan, of injuries sustained when his armoured vehicle struck an improvised explosive device.

He was a member of the 3rd Battalion, The Yorkshire Regiment.

Christopher was from Bradford in West Yorkshire.

Family members stated that he loved the Army life and that's all he wanted to do from a very young age. They describe him as intelligent and a joker, well-liked and a man who liked being around people.
Angels of God, pray for Chris

Military officials stated that Christopher was one of their fittest soldiers, a true warrior who was marked out as a star of the future.

Christopher is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his mother, Monica Kershaw; and his father, Brian Kershaw.

Pray for the 19 year olds who die in war. They are just teenagers after all.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Christopher Kershaw is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
