Robert Tauteris Jr.

Spc. Robert J. Tauteris Jr., age 44, of Hamlet, Indiana, died on January 6, 2012, in Kandahar province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his vehicle with an improvised explosive device.
He was assigned to the 81st Troop Command, Indiana National Guard, Indianapolis, Indiana.

He was known as "Bobby" to his family and friends.

Father, place Robert on the
path to Heaven
Robert Tauteris Jr. was a 1986 graduate of North Judson-San Pierre High School.

Family members stated that he was a good kid, who did well in school and who liked to fish and hunt. He was always there for his family and friends and is remembered as a great father to his boys, who were his whole life.

Robert is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his father, Robert Tauteris Sr.; (his mother Marge had predeceased him); and his two sons Robert III and Matthew.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Robert Tauteris Jr. is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
