Brian Leonhardt

Spc. Brian J. Leonhardt, age 21, of Merrillville, Indiana, died on January 6, 2012, in Kandahar province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his vehicle with an improvised explosive device. 

He was assigned to the 81st Troop Command, Indiana National Guard, Indianapolis, Indiana.

Jesus, pray for Brian

Family members describe him as a great man, with a lot of potential for success. 

Brian is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his parents Marie and Robert Leonhardt; his sisters Theresa and Jackie; brothers Chuck and Trevor; and Brian's newly wed wife, Dianne.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Brian Leonhardt is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
