Mariusz Deptula

Polish soldier, Private 1st Class Mariusz Deptula, age 28, died on October 23, 2011, in Ghazni, Afghanistan, when his vehicle struck an improvised explosive device.

He was a soldier of the 15th Giżycko Mechanized Brigade. It was his first mission to Afghanistan.

Mariusz had served as a professional soldier since 2007. 

He is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his wife and his daughter. 

He is the 31st Polish soldier to die in Afghanistan. 

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Mariusz Deptula is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
