Christopher A. Horns

Pfc. Christopher A. Horns, age 20, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, died on October 22, 2011, in Kandahar province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device.

He was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington.

Father, place Christopher on
the stairway to Heaven.
Christopher Horns enlisted July 2010 and became a ranger in March. He was an assistant machine gunner and automatic rifleman, serving his first deployment.

Military officials stated that he placed his fellow rangers, the regiment, and his nation before everything else in life.

Christopher is survived by many loving friends and family members including his parents, Larry and Tamara Horns, and a sister, Tiffany Horns, all of Colorado Springs.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Christopher A. Horns is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
