Kevin Jessup - Law Enforcement - New York

Police Officer Kevin Jessup, age 25, was killed off-duty on September 11, 2011. 

Kevin was a member of the New York Police Department. For the past three years, he worked at the 106th Precinct in Ozone Park, Queens, New York. 

Angels of God,
pray for Kevin Jessup
and for all who are killed
by drunk and stoned
drivers.

He had been driving with his girlfriend when he was struck from behind by a 20 year old drunk driver, who was speeding at 100 miles per hour. After the drunk driver slammed his vehicle into the back of Kevin's car, he hit another vehicle. Both the drunk driver and the driver of the second car that he hit, survived. But Kevin did not. 

Family members describe Kevin as a great human being, great adult, great kid and a great friend. They also state that Kevin was happy to be a police officer and that he was proud of his job. 

Kevin is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his father, Ron Jessup and his brother, Keith Jessup and his girlfriend, Crystal, who survived this automobile crash. 

The drunk driver is being held by the Police, pending bail. 

Let us pray for all who killed by drunk and stoned drivers on the road. God save us from these people. 

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Kevin Jessup is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
