Dean Griffiths

British soldier Dean Griffiths, age 21, from Market Drayton, Shropshire, was killed in Kent, England, on September 14, 2011.

Dean was a member of the 1st Battalion, the Royal Welsh Regiment.

He was shot in the head during a live-fire training exercise as part of his regiment's preparations for potential deployment to Afghanistan and died of his wounds.

Light a candle for Dean.
Light his way to Heaven.

Family members describe him as fun, loving and caring and was so excited at becoming a father. The family called him "Deano".

Pray for all who die in the line of duty.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Dean Griffiths is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
