Stephen M. Mills

Stephen M. age 35, of Fort Worth, Texas, was killed on August 6, 2011, in the Tangi Valley of Wardak Province, Afghanistan, when a U.S. helicopter crashed.

He was known as Matt. 


Matt was a Navy Seal and had been for 14 years. He was based in Virginia Beach, Virginia. 

He had spent his childhood in Tulsa, Oklahoma and attended Arlington schools.

Matt was remarried in April of 2011 and has three children from a previous marriage -- two sons, Cash and Bryce, and a daughter, Zoe.

Friends said that he loved his children.  

Pray for his wife and his children, who no longer have him in their lives. 

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Stephen M. Mills is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
