John W. Brown

John W. Brown, of Arkansas, was killed on August 6, 2011, in the Tangi Valley of Wardak Province, Afghanistan, when a U.S. helicopter crashed.

John was a medic with the Navy Seals.

John Brown graduated in 1996 from Siloam Springs High School, in northwest Arkansas. John went to college for about a year before he joined the military, something he had always talked about.

Family and friends describe him as an athlete, intelligent and patriotic and a regular G.I. Joe. He also had a gentle side. 

John is survived by numerous loving family members and friends including his wife. 

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that John W. Brown is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
