Gaetano Tuccillo

Italian soldier, Gaetano Tuccillo, age 29, was killed on July 2, 2011, in the Shamalzai district of Zabul province, Afghanistan, when his vehicle struck a roadside bomb.

Military officials described Gaetano as a cheerful and courageous solider and a model professional.

Gaetano is survived by numerous loving family members and friends, including his wife, Evelyn.
