Chad D. Frokjer

Sgt. Chad D. Frokjer, age 27, of Maplewood, Minnesota, died on June 30, 2011, while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan.

He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, California.  Chad Frokjer was a convoy commander for a Mobile Assault Team for the Battalion's Alpha Company.

He has a wife, Leslie, and a child. He resided in Garden Grove, California.

Chad graduated from North High School in North St. Paul, Minnesota, in 2002. He had served in the Marines since September 2004.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Chad D. Frokjer is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
