Micah Hill was assigned to the USS Enterprise as a machinist’s mate and died aboard ship.
Micah enlisted on the Navy in June 2004. After graduating recruit training at Great Lakes, Ill., he attended Naval Submarine School in Groton, Conn. He later served on the ballistic submarine West Virginia and the carrier Dwight D. Eisenhower. He reported to the Enterprise in November 2009.
Family friends described Micah as a patriot and stated that "He loved his kids, he loved his wife and he loved his country.”
Micah Hill lived with his wife Melissa and their three young boys near the naval base in Norfolk, Va.
Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Micah Aaron Hill is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
