John joined the Army in March, 2010. After completing training at Fort Benning, Georgia he came to Fort Drum in August 2010. He deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in March 2011.
His awards and decorations include the Afghanistan Campaign Medal, the Army Service Ribbon, the National Defense Service Medal, and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.
John is survived by his mother and father.
Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that John Kihm is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
