British Corporal Steven Thomas Dunn, age 27, from Gateshead, died on December 21, 2010, after his Jackal vehicle hit a roadside bomb in the Nahr-e Saraj district of Helmand province, Afghanistan.
He was with the 216 Parachute Signal Squadron, attached to 2nd Battalion the Parachute Regiment Battlegroup. He deployed to Afghanistan in September and was on his third tour of the country.
He is survived by his wife - Cheryl and daughter - Emily, his brothers Christopher and Michael, close friend - Kevin, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A spokesperson stated "He died doing a job he loved and excelled at."
Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Steven Thomas Dunn is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
