Gays in the Military - Now Allowed

In a landmark decision, the United States Senate has repealed the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy that has been in place since 1993.

On Saturday, December 18, 2010, the Senate repealed "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" (DADT) in a 65-31 vote. With all of the Democrats voting to repeal, only eight of the 43 Republican Senators voted to repeal DADT.
Michael, Archangel,
Prince in Heaven,
soldier for God,
pray for all soldiers

This shameful treatment of gays in the military has been addressed, at least on the surface. The reality is that now Gays will be free to die for the government openly, where before, they died in secret.

Jesus pray for us, that all men and women soldiers, gay or straight, are acknowledged for their efforts to achieve stability in this world.

Jesus ask your Father for peace in this world for everyone. And that all soldiers will be returned to their loved ones, alive.  Amen
