Todd L. McGurn - U.S. Army Fatality - Iraq

Todd McGurn
Cpl. Todd L. McGurn, age 20, of Riverside, California, died on November 25, 2017, in Baghdad, Iraq. 

Cpl. McGurn was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 6th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, based at Fort Bliss, Texas.

Todd was known as "Bubba" to his family and friends. 

Tragically, Todd passed away from a non-combat related incident which is under investigation. 

Todd was serving in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, which is the U.S. Military operation against ISIS in Iraq and Syria.

A funding site has to been set up to help Todd's family with expenses. 

Todd joined the Army in 2016. 

Friends describe Todd as a young man who was happy and kind in spirit.

Todd's comrades at Fort Bliss are in mourning over the death of their young brother. He was a good kid who was just starting out in life. He had a future. He will be forever remembered.

Todd  is survived by many loving comrades, friends and family members including his mother, his two older sisters; and his girlfriend. 

Oceans of tears have been shed for Todd. 

Thank you for your service to America, Todd. 

Pray for all who die in the line of duty.

Pray for all who die suddenly. They are with us one moment and are gone before we can say goodbye.

Pray that Todd is in Heaven. Pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.

Pray, without ceasing, unto God, for an end to all War. It is enough.

I wish kids in the army could have the kind of protection the pope gets. like those gold bedazzled pope mobile. but all our kids get is a flag bedazzled coffin.
