Brian Odiorne |
Pfc. Odiorne was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 82nd Field Artillery Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood,Texas.
Brian died in a non-combat related incident which is under investigation.
Brian was serving in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, which is the U.S. Military operation against ISIS in Iraq and Syria.
Brian graduated from Pathfinder Regional Vocational Technical High School in Palmer, Massachusetts in 2014. He was a well-known football player while in high school. He joined the Army in October of 2015 as a cannon crewmember. He had been assigned to the 1st Cavalry Division since May of 2016.
Brian's awards and decorations include the National Defense Service Medal and
Army Service Medal. He will be posthumously awarded the Inherent Resolve Campaign Medal and Overseas Service Ribbon.
Brian's military comrades are in mourning over the death of their young brother. He will be forever remembered.
Brian's loved ones are devastated over his tragic death. He was a caring man who was kind in spirit. He was just starting out in life. He did his best. He will be forever mourned.
Brian is survived by many loving comrades, friends and family members who will forever miss him.
