David Robison - a Good Samaritan Cop in Ohio

In the early morning hours of September 25, 2016, Mark Ross of Indiana, found out that his 15 year old sister, Eliza Fletcher, had tragically been killed in a car accident.

A friend offered him a ride to Detroit so that Mark could be with his mother.

They were speeding and while on an Ohio highway near Dayton, they were stopped by an Ohio State Highway Patrol officer. Mark's friend, the driver, had a suspended license and therefore the vehicle was towed.

The highway patrol officer was Sergeant David Robison.

Mark was now stranded and explained his situation to Sergeant Robison. While telling the story, Mark broke down and tears came to his eyes.

God bless all who reach out to
others in distress.
Sergeant Robison prayed with Mark and then offered to drive him as close to Michigan as they could so that a friend or relative could pick him up from there.

Mark stated that he was overwhelmed at the kindness of the officer. He has not been a big fan of the Police, especially in recent months. However, he said that the offer of help gave him hope.

A funding site has been set up to help Mark's mother with funeral expenses for his sister.

God bless Sergeant David Robison who is a Good Samaritan.

God bless all who step up in times of trouble. Amen.

Pray that Eliza Fletcher is in Heaven. Pray that she is at peace and is with God. Amen.
