After 6:00 a.m., Michael was working a fire in a 2 storey house in the Kingsbridge area of the Bronx. Neighbors reported a gas smell. When firefighters arrived on scene, they found a drug operation.

Michael was rushed to a nearby hospital where, tragically, he succumbed to his injuries.

The entire incident is under investigation by the authorities.
