De'Greaun Frazier |
Special Agent Frazier was a member of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations. He was assigned to the Jackson-Madison County Metro Narcotics squad. He had 6 months of service with the Bureau.
De'Greaun had previously served with the Millington Police Department for six years, the University of Memphis Police Department for four years, and also with the Shelby County Sheriff's Office as a reserve deputy.
At about 2:00 p.m. on August 9, 2016, De'Greaun was working an undercover drug operation in Jackson. The man being investigated by the Narcotics Squad drove with De'Greaun and another man for a drug run to get an ounce of cocaine. During the transaction, the subject shot De'Greaun in the back.
De'Greaun was rushed to a local hospital where, tragically, he succumbed to his

The suspect fled the scene after the shooting but was apprehended a short time later. He will be charged with murder.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigations is in mourning over the death of their brother. De'Greaun was a dedicated and hard-working member of the Bureau. He will be forever remembered.
De'Greaun's loved ones are devastated over his sudden and tragic death. He wanted to make a difference. He did his best. He will be forever mourned.
De'Greaun is survived by many loving comrades, friends and family members including his wife and two children.

God save us from the drug addicts and the drug dealers. They are killing us, Father. Amen.
