Tomas Olivas Ornelas - a victim - killed in Arizona

Tomas Olivas Ornelas, age 49, of Phoenix, died on May 31, 2016, at a hospital in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Tomas

After 3:30 a.m., Tomas was on his way to work at a construction job-site in or near Mesa, Arizona. He came across an accident scene and stopped. He may have been flagged down by someone. It is very probable that he stopped to offer help. He was then shot by a male at the scene.

He was rushed to a hospital where, tragically, he succumbed to his injuries.

Christopher Wright, age 38, stated that he wanted to kill his wife by speeding and crashing their vehicle. At the crash scene, he allegedly shot Tomas Ornelas and then shot and killed his wife, Nasbah Laverne Wright, age 41. Her name has also been reported as "Nabash".

Christopher Wright, age 38, has been charged with two first degree murders. During his arrest and transportation he had to be tasered and pepper sprayed in order to get him under control.

He is innocent unless proven guilty. It is now our policy not to publish the photos of accused murderers on this website.

Christopher Wright is a former police officer who had worked for the Phoenix Police Department for two years and then resigned for personal reasons. It is believed that at the time of the murders he was doped up on massive amounts of cocaine.

Christopher Wright and his wife had a long history of trouble and violence in their marriage. He admitted to the Police that he had been regularly verbally and physically abusive towards his wife during their marriage. He stated that his wife cheated on him, that she deserved to die and that he would do it again if given the opportunity. This was a marriage made in Hell.

Tomas was originally from Chihuahua, Mexico. He had been living in the U.S.A. for over 15 years.
Jesus, pray for Tomas and for
those who have lost him.

Family and friends describe Tomas as a wonderful father and a man with a sense of humor. He made others laugh with his antics.

A funding site has been set up to help the family with expenses.

The loved ones of Tomas are devastated over his sudden and tragic death. He did his best. He will be forever mourned.

Tomas is survived by many loving friends and family members who will forever miss him.

Pray for justice for Tomas.

God save us from the psychopaths. They are killing us, Father. Amen.

Pray that Tomas is in Heaven. Pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
