Casey Ross - a victim of domestic murder - Texas

Casey
Casey Ross, age 42, died on March 11, 2016, at a hospital in San Antonio, Texas.

She had been shot in the head by her husband, David Ross, age 46.

Casey Ross was a physician who worked under the name of Dr. Casey Drawert.

She was the mother of a 7 year old son and a 10 year old daughter from a previous marriage.

Casey had gotten married to David Ross just a year ago. Casey had decided that the marriage was not working out and had changed the locks on her home just before her death. She feared her husband. She feared for her safety.

Sometime before 7:30 a.m., on March 11th, David Ross broke into the house, shot Casey and then shot and killed himself. Thankfully, the children were at school at the time of these tragic deaths.

Casey was rushed to a nearby hospital where, tragically, she died of her injuries.

A funding site has been set up to help the family with expenses and to set up an education fund for the children.

Hindsight is 20-20 and it is easy to come up with advice after the fact. However, if you are a male who is experiencing a relationship breakdown and feel that you are losing control because of it:

~Talk about it. Speak to a friend or a family member or someone you trust.
~On the Internet, look up "crisis line" for your state or province and telephone them.
Father, place Casey on the stairway
to Heaven.
They will have counsellors on the line who can talk to you about your situation.
~Go to the local hospital's emergency room and say that you are losing it and that you need help. You may need strong prescription drugs to calm you down. You may need immediate psychological counselling.
~Do anything you can to prevent yourself from murdering the person you once loved.

Casey was a critical care anesthesiologist. Medical colleagues stated that Casey took care of the sickest patients. She was a strong and independent woman with a big heart, a strong faith, and a sharp wit.

Casey's loved ones are devastated over her sudden and tragic death. She was a wonderful mother and a dedicated physician. She was loving and was loved in return. She did her best. She will be forever mourned.

Casey is survived by many loving friends and family members who will forever miss her.

God save us from those who say they love us and then kill us. Amen.

Pray that Casey is in heaven. Pray that she is at peace and is with God. Amen.
