Nyjah Espinosa in Florida and Robin Elgie in Canada - victims of Pit Bull dogs

We regret to provide information regarding recent deaths/maulings from Pit Bull dogs in Canada and the U.S.A.

Nyjah Espinosa
Increasingly, dog owners are not taking responsibility for their pets. Many of these pets are dangerous. They can kill you.

Nyjah Espinosa, age 2, died on December 20, 2015, at a home in Miami-Dade county, Florida. She was on a visit to her father at his home when she was attacked and killed by his dog weighing 95 pounds. The dog is 5 years old. Nyjah was playing in the hallway of her father's home. Family members describe the dog as a pit bull.

A funding site has been set up to help the family with expenses.

On December 25, 2015, Robin Elgie, age 66, was attacked in his trailer home in Fort
Robin Elgie
St. John, British Columbia, Canada, by 2 pit bull dogs. Robin's partner, Wendy, opened the trailer door to let in their small dog when two pit bulls charged through the door and killed the family's 15 year old cat. The dogs then attacked Robin. He was severely injured and his arms have been mangled almost to the point of amputation.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police officers at the scene justifiably killed both dogs.

Robin Elgie is in the hospital and is recovering from his injuries which are extreme.

Where are the authorities in British Columbia, Canada, and in Florida, U.S.A.? Why do you allow Pit Bulls and related breeds in your jurisdictions? Wake up and get with the 21st century.
Would you really want
dogs like this around
your loved ones?

Pit Bulls were bred over 200 years ago for bull baiting, bear baiting and dog fighting. They were never intended to be family pets. They should never be around infants or young children under any circumstances.

They have repeatedly proven that they can kill people, both young and old, including people passing by. They have killed grown women walking in the hallways of their apartment buildings; they have killed 40 year old men jogging by on a country road; they have killed toddlers playing on the floor.

Many towns and cities, counties and states do not allow pit bulls and related breeds within their jurisdictions. Pit bulls are banned outright in many European countries, period.

Pit Bulls and all related dog breeds should be bred out of existence sooner rather than later.

Death by dog is not acceptable in a civilized country.

Nyjah Espinosa is playing in the fields of Heaven.

Pray for the recovery of Robin Elgie, who was savagely mauled.
