Noah Leotta
Police Officer Noah Leotta, age 24, died in the line of duty on December 10, 2015, at a hospital in Bethesda, Maryland.

On December 3, 2015, before 10:00 p.m., Noah was conducting a traffic stop in Rockville for the Holiday Alcohol Task Force. He had spoken to the driver of one vehicle and was getting back into his patrol car when he was struck by an another vehicle.

Luis Gustavo Reluzco, age 47, will be charged with impaired driving causing death. It is reported that he has two prior drunk driving convictions and a prior drug possession charge.

Luis Gustavo Reluzco is innocent unless proven guilty.

However we offer this advice to all drivers: If you find that you are wasted, drunk or doped up on street drugs or prescription drugs or if you are falling asleep on your feet, do NOT drive. Call a family member or a friend for a ride; or take a taxi or a bus; or stay where you are until you sober up; or crawl home on your hands and knees. It will be better for you and for the world if you do.

Regret can last a lifetime.
