Rich Coppinger - a Good Samaritan in Phoenix, Arizona

Rich Coppinger
During the morning of October 31, 2015, Rich Coppinger was driving home on the I-17, which is a highway that extends through parts of Phoenix, Arizona.

Rich is a veteran law enforcement corrections officer and was on his way home from a security detail he had worked earlier.

He saw an auto accident ahead and billows of smoke. He went to help and saw two people who were unconscious in a car.

He and another man managed to pull the passenger out of the car and began CPR. The person started to breathe shallowly.

The driver of the vehicle was trapped inside and the vehicle had burst into flames. Rich tried to go back for the driver, but couldn't because of the flames.
The Good Samaritan comes
to the aid of strangers,
selflessly.

Tragically, the driver of the car died in the wreck. The passenger that Rich helped to save was rushed to a nearby hospital.

No other information is available at this time.

However, Rich Coppinger is a Good Samaritan.

God bless him and all who come to the aid of strangers. Amen.

Pray for the man or woman who died in this very tragic accident.

Pray for the recovery of the person who was injured.
