Tiffany Sical and Bryan Rodriguez-Solis - Victims of an impaired driver in Rhode Island

Tiffany Sical, age 21, and Bryan Rodriguez-Solis, age 23, died on April 5, 2015, on a highway in Providence, Rhode Island.

Tiffany and Bryan (L); Joel Norman (R)
Tiffany and Bryan had attended a late night movie in Providence and were on their way home. At about 1:30 a.m., they were struck by vehicle which plowed into them. They were wearing their seatbelts.

Tragically, Tiffany died at the scene of the collision and Bryan was rushed to a nearby hospital where he too succumbed to his injuries.

The young couple had a young daughter, Jaylene Rodriguez, and planned on getting married in the near future.

Joel Norman, age 24, was arrested and charged with being under the influence of alcohol or drugs which resulted in death. He drove on the highway in the wrong direction, against traffic, for over a mile, just before he struck Tiffany and Bryan's vehicle. He refused a breathalyzer test.

Tiffany worked as a salesperson at a furniture store in Allteboro. Bryan worked as a manager at a restaurant in Cranston.

Friends describe the young couple as generous and positive. They had met at the Metropolitan Regional Career and Technical Center. They were high school sweethearts. They were just starting out on a new path in life.

Tiffany had a really big heart. Bryan was a great father to his daughter.

A funding site has been established to help with expenses and for their daughter.

Joel Norman is innocent until proven guilty.

However we offer this advice to all drivers: If you find that you are wasted, drunk or doped up on street drugs or prescription drugs or if you are falling asleep on your feet, do NOT drive. Call a family member or a friend for a ride; or take a taxi; or stay where you are until you sober up; or crawl home on your hands and knees. It will be
Angels of God, pray for Tiffany
and for Bryan and for those
who have lost them.
better for you and for the world if you do.

Regret can last a lifetime.

Tiffany's and Bryan's loved ones are devastated over their sudden and tragic deaths. They will be forever mourned.

Tiffany and Bryan are survived by many loving friends and family members including their daughter, Jaylene.

Pray for justice for Tiffany and Bryan.

Pray for all who die by misadventure. They are with us one moment and are gone before we can say goodbye.

God save us from the drunk and the doped up drivers. They are killing us, Father.

Pray that Tiffany and Bryan are in heaven. Pray that they are at peace and are with God. Amen.
