Islamic State Terrorists kill 30 Ethiopian Christians in Libya

On April 19, 2015, a video was released by "Islamic State" showing Islamic State militants killing Ethiopian men who were working in Libya.

No one knows how many men were actually killed.

It has been reported that 12 Ethiopians were beheaded on a beach and 16 were shot in the head at a desert location.

All of the men were Christians.

The Ethiopian Government has confirmed that the men killed in the video are their citizens.

Islamic State (also known as ISIS or ISIL)  is a terrorist organisation which claims religious and political authority over all Muslims. Its ambition is to establish a caliphate to control Muslim regions of the Middle East including Iraq, Syria, Palestine, Jordan, Israel, Lebanon, Cyprus and parts of Turkey. They are also attempting to expand into the North African Muslim countries of Libya, Tunisia and Algeria.

In February of 2015, a similar mass murder video was published by Islamic State terrorists in which the deaths of 21 Egyptian Christians was broadcast.

In that video, a terrorist stated: “You will not have safety, even in your dreams, until you embrace Islam.”

In this more recent video, the victims were described by the terrorists as "followers of the cross from the enemy Ethiopian Church." They also stated: “To the nations of the cross, we are back again…telling you Muslim blood that was shed under the hands of your religion is not cheap.”

Pray for the Egyptian and Ethiopian men who were so brutally murdered for no reason.

God save us from the religious extremists of every religion.
