"Linda" - a Good Samaritan in Massachusetts - paid off toy accounts for Christmas

The Good Samaritan reaches
out to others, selflessly.
A woman named "Linda" went into a Toys R Us store in Bellingham, Massachusetts on December 10, 2014.

She didn't go in for the purpose of shopping. She went in to pay off the accounts of everyone who had put the purchase of toys on a layaway plan.

In the retail world, when you can't afford to buy something immediately, you can put it on a layaway plan and pay for it gradually. When you've paid entirely for the merchandise, you get it.

Linda paid $20,000. and cleared off all layaway accounts at this store. More than 150 customers of the store received the toys they were buying for Christmas, partially free.

Many of these customers were astonished and emotional at the kindness of Linda, the Good Samaritan.

One woman customer of the store said that she had only $9.00 when she went shopping for Christmas toys for her two sons. She picked out a couple of items and put $50.00 on the layaway plan. She was near to tears when she found out that her layaway account had been paid off for her.

Linda remains anonymous as of this posting. She is described as an older, local woman. When she was paying off the layaway accounts, she hugged the Store Manager and said: "If you have it, give it."

God bless Linda for her generosity and kindness.

We need more women like her in this world.
