Enoc Ramircz - A Good Samaritan in North Carolina

Before 7:00 a.m. on September 6, 2014, a vehicle overturned and crashed into a water filled creek near Rocky Mount, North Carolina.

Rocky Mount is a city of 57,000 people.

The accident scene
Enoc Ramircz had left his home in a mobile home park and was on his way to work when he and others noticed an overturned vehicle with someone trapped inside.

Enoc ran down to the creek, saw that the driver was pinned inside the vehicle and was partially submerged in the water.

The accident victim was moaning for help. His legs were somehow trapped under the dashboard. Later, it was found that he had numerous injuries.

Enoc was able to keep the man's head above water until Fire Rescue Units arrived at the scene. These units were able to complete the rescue of this accident victim who was airlifted by helicopter to a medical trauma center.

Enoc is married and is the father of 2 children.

God bless Enoc Ramircz. He is a Good Samaritan.

God bless all who step up and who come to the aid of others in distress. They are the true heroes of the modern era. Amen.
