David Foster and Whitney Miller - victims of drunk driving in Indianapolis, Indiana

David Foster, age 50, of Indianapolis, and Whitney Miller, age 28, of Fortville, died on August 9, 2014, in a motor vehicle accident on a road in suburban Indianapolis.

Whitney Miller (L); David Foster (Mid); Paige Byers (R)
At about 10:20 p.m., David, his wife, Marsha and Whitney were returning from an evening of bowling.  They were driving in a Ford Explorer near the Geist Reservoir in Hamilton County.  A black Cadillac veered into their lane striking them head on.  David and Whitney died at the scene.  Marsha was transported to a local hospital in serious condition. The impact of the crash left a hole in the road.

Paige Byers, age 22, of Noblesville, is facing six felony charges in connection with the deaths of David and Whitney.

Paige Byers admitted to having a number of alcoholic drinks at a concert earlier in the evening.  She ended up in an argument with her boyfriend and took off in her vehicle.  It was while driving to "clear her head" that the accident occurred.

Family members and friends describe Whitney Miller as a wonderful mother to her four children, ages 2 to 9. Donations may be made to the family for expenses by visiting the website of the Fortville Church of the Nazarene.

Paige Byers is sorry for her part in this tragedy.
Gabriel, Archangel, who stands
in the presence of God, pray for
David and Whitney and for those
who have lost them

To All Drivers: If you find that you are drunk or doped up on street drugs or prescription drugs or if you are falling asleep on your feet, do NOT drive. Call a family member or a friend for a ride; or take a taxi; or stay where you are until you sober up; or crawl home on your hands and knees. It will be better for you and for the world if you do.

Regret can last a lifetime.

The loved ones of David Foster and Whitney Miller are devastated by their sudden and tragic deaths. They will be forever mourned.

David is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his wife, Marsha Foster.

Whitney is survived by many loving friends and relatives including her father, Paul Miller; and her four young children who have lost their mother.

Pray for justice for David and Whitney.

God save us from the drunk and the doped up drivers. They are killing us, Father.

Pray that David Foster and Whitney Miller are in heaven. Pray that they are at peace and are with God. Amen.
